TaoApex Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") operates the TaoSkip mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and, if you use Apple Sign In, your Apple ID identifier and name (first login only).

Usage Data: We collect the items you record, their amounts, currencies, statuses (skipped/purchased), timestamps, and optional notes you add.

Device Information: We collect your device token for push notifications and your timezone preference.

Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not store your credit card or payment details. We receive a transaction receipt via RevenueCat to verify your subscription status.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the App's core features (impulse tracking, statistics, reminders)
To send push notifications about cooldown periods and weekly summaries
To verify and manage your subscription status
To improve the App through aggregated, anonymized usage analytics

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS) and cached locally on your device. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS. We use Cloudflare Workers as our API gateway.

4. Third-Party Services

Supabase — Authentication and database hosting (Privacy Policy)
RevenueCat — Subscription management (Privacy Policy)
Apple / App Store — Payment processing and Apple Sign In
Cloudflare — API hosting and delivery (Privacy Policy)

These services may collect information as described in their own privacy policies.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with the service providers listed above as necessary to operate the App, or when required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the App's Settings page, which permanently removes all your data from our servers.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your data
Withdraw consent for data processing
Export your data (available in-app via "Export Data")

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure authentication (Supabase Auth), and access controls. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
