These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TaoSkip mobile application ("App") operated by TaoApex Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

TaoSkip is an impulse spending tracker that helps you make better purchasing decisions by recording potential purchases and enforcing a 24-hour cooling-off period before confirming your final decision.

2. Account Registration

You may sign up using Apple Sign In or email/password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

3. Free and Pro Plans

The App offers a free tier with a daily record limit and a Pro subscription that unlocks unlimited records, custom reminders, data export, and advanced analytics. Feature availability may change with reasonable notice.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and subject to Apple's terms.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription from iOS Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions, or via the in-app "Manage Subscription" option.
A one-time Lifetime purchase is also available, which grants Pro access permanently.
No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the data you enter into the App (item names, amounts, notes). You grant us a limited license to store and process this data solely to provide the App's features.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to circumvent subscription or feature restrictions
Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the App's Settings page. Account deletion permanently removes all your data from our servers and cannot be undone.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. TaoSkip is a personal finance tool and does not constitute financial advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaoApex Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
