SnapCal Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SnapCal mobile application operated by TaoApex Limited ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using SnapCal you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital consent age in your country) to use SnapCal.

2. The Service

SnapCal provides AI-assisted food logging and daily nutrition progress on iOS. Features may include photo recognition, voice logging, macro tracking, Apple Health weight sync, and optional paid Pro features.

SnapCal is not a medical device. Calorie and nutrient estimates are approximate and informational only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

3. Account

  • You are responsible for keeping sign-in credentials secure.
  • You may delete your account from Settings (or by contacting support@taoapex.com).
  • We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service, reverse-engineer APIs beyond permitted use, or violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and payments

  • Pro subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and subject to Apple Media Services Terms.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload unlawful content
  • Attempt to disrupt or overload the Service
  • Misrepresent AI outputs as professional medical advice
  • Use the Service to harm others

6. Intellectual property

The SnapCal app, branding, and software are owned by TaoApex Limited or its licensors. You retain rights to your meal content, subject to the limited license needed for us to operate the Service (storage, recognition, display back to you).

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not warrant that nutrition estimates will be accurate or suitable for any particular health goal.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaoApex Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or health outcomes arising from use of SnapCal.

9. Termination

You may stop using SnapCal at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for Terms violations. Sections that by nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, IP) will survive termination.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply.
