What data TaoTalk AI handles
The TaoApex Privacy Policy covers account details, content you submit, payment or subscription records, technical logs, and cookies needed to operate the service.
TaoTalk uses relevant conversation context for replies and describes saved memories that can support later conversations. Do not assume every chat message becomes a saved memory.
When AI providers receive chat or voice data
TaoTalk AI asks for explicit permission before AI processing. Google Gemini receives messages, relevant history, summaries, memories and character settings for replies, memory extraction, summaries and optional reminders; voice recordings are sent only for transcription.
OpenRouter routes message or memory text only to Nebius for memory-search embeddings, without provider fallbacks. Declining keeps AI chat and voice disabled.
A saved withdrawal at Profile > AI Data Sharing blocks new account AI processing, without recalling requests already sent or immediately erasing stored records.
What removing a saved memory means
TaoTalk product information says users can review saved memories and remove entries from active use.
This describes whether an entry should be used for future personalization; it is not a promise that every related chat record, log, or backup is erased immediately.

Retention and privacy requests
The policy says active account data is kept while an account remains open. After account deletion, data is generally removed from active systems within 30 days, while some logs may be kept for 90 days.
