Privacy Policy

Note2Do is a privacy-first iPhone and iPad app operated by TaoApex Limited. It turns school notices into parent-reviewed action cards. School notices may contain children’s names, school details, dates, fees, and contact information, so this policy explains the narrow way the app handles that content.

1. Data processed

  • Notice content you choose to import: text, images, screenshots, PDFs, and the extracted action-card fields.
  • AI parsing request data: after you sign in and start production parsing, the app sends extracted notice text, selected child names, and your language preference to the Note2Do Worker. The Worker forwards that request to the configured Google Gemini or Cloudflare AI provider and returns structured fields.
  • Child profiles and local history: information you choose to enter so action cards can be organized.
  • Calendar and Reminders data: only when you explicitly confirm an action and grant Apple EventKit permission.
  • Account data: if you enable the optional Apple or email sign-in flow, the configured authentication provider may process your account identifier, email address, and profile information.
  • Purchase data: if Pro is enabled, Apple and the configured RevenueCat account may process the purchase transaction and entitlement status. TaoApex does not receive your Apple payment credentials.

2. On-device and cloud processing

Apple Vision performs image OCR on the device, and original images/PDF files remain in the app’s local history until you delete them. Production action-card parsing is an authenticated cloud feature: after sign-in, extracted text, selected child names, and locale are sent over HTTPS to `note2do-api.taoapex.com`. The Worker forwards the request to Google Gemini or Cloudflare AI and returns the parsed fields. Provider keys are never shipped in the app, and Note2Do does not advertise an offline or local AI mode.

Note2Do does not automatically read Gmail, Outlook, school portals, SMS, or WhatsApp. You choose each item to share or import.

3. How data is used

We use data only to import and display your notice, build an editable action card, organize local history and child profiles, perform a Calendar or Reminders action that you confirm, provide optional account and purchase features, and answer support requests. We do not sell school-notice content and do not use it to build advertising profiles.

4. Retention and deletion

You can delete the original source from an action card and remove local history in the app. If you use an account, the in-app Delete account flow requests deletion of the authenticated Supabase account and clears the app’s local data when the account service is available. You may also contact support@taoapex.com for a verifiable deletion request, which we will process within 30 days subject to legal retention requirements. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple subscription; cancel it separately in Apple ID subscription settings.

Deleting Note2Do does not automatically remove a Calendar event or Reminder that you previously confirmed in Apple’s apps; manage those records in Calendar or Reminders.

5. Service providers

Apple provides iOS, Vision OCR, Calendar, Reminders, Sign in with Apple, and App Store services. Supabase provides authentication, RevenueCat processes purchase and entitlement data, and the Note2Do Worker routes authenticated parsing requests to Google Gemini or Cloudflare AI. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.

6. Children and sensitive notices

Note2Do is designed for parents and guardians. Do not enter information you are not authorized to handle. Because school notices can contain sensitive family information, review every action card before sharing it with another person or service.

7. Your rights and contact

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export personal data. Contact privacy@taoapex.com for privacy questions or support@taoapex.com for product help.

TaoApex Limited may update this policy when the app’s data flows change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated for material changes.
