TriggerMap ("the app") is a self-tracking tool for people who want to log meals and symptoms and discover statistical patterns in their own data. TriggerMap is operated by TaoApex Limited.

Data we store

All of your logs (meals, symptoms, baseline questionnaire answers, and analysis reports) are stored on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, in your private iCloud database (CloudKit private database). We, the developers, cannot access your iCloud private database.

Health data

If you grant permission, the app reads sleep, heart-rate variability (HRV), and menstrual cycle data from Apple HealthKit. This data is read-only, processed on your device, and never transmitted to us or any third party.

Photo analysis

• On devices with iOS 26 or later, meal/menu/label photos are analyzed on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
• On older systems, if a cloud analysis service is configured, only the recognized ingredient text (OCR output) is sent for analysis. Photos never leave your phone.

Analytics

The app uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous usage signals (for example: app opened, meal logged). These signals contain no personal data, no health data, and no content of your logs.

Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat. We receive only an anonymous entitlement status (whether your subscription is active). We never see your payment details.

Your controls

• You can delete all data at any time in Settings → Data → Delete All Data.
• You can revoke HealthKit and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
